Meet Axel

Axel Raymond (Gen-z) has lived in Skamania County for all of his life and proudly calls it home. He loves the incredible natural beauty of the area—from sweeping river views to sprawling mountains, vibrant sunsets, and the surrounding forests.
Axel joined Skamania Kids & Youth at its very beginning in 2024, when it was just a small idea starting to take shape. As a founding member and Youth Engagement and Outreach Coordinator, he takes great pride in how far SKY has come and is excited to continue growing its impact.

Axel hopes that teens in the community feel safe, supported, and truly appreciated as they navigate the transition into adulthood.
