Youth Advisory Council

A core component of the critical developmental transition from youth to adulthood is practicing agency - the powerful ability to influence and affect one’s world.

Youth themselves are best equipped to articulate the needs of modern teens and to co-design a relevant Teen Center. The Youth Advisory Council is a group of twelve dedicated teens who meet at least twice monthly to provide key feedback, ideas, and project support. These teens have circulated surveys, reached out to peers, spoken with adults in the community, mapped out the future Teen Center, and hosted a fundraiser. Using their fresh vision and heart, they are building a world together for the greater good - a skillset they’ll carry forward!
