Youth Advisory Council
A core component of the critical developmental transition from youth to adulthood is practicing agency - the powerful ability to influence and affect one’s world.
Youth themselves are best equipped to articulate the needs of modern teens and to co-design a relevant Teen Center. The Youth Advisory Council is a group of twelve dedicated teens who meet weekly to actualize their dream. These teens have circulated surveys, reached out to peers, spoken with adults in the community, mapped out the future Teen Center, hosted a fundraiser, applied for grants, and engaged in robust conversations around Teen Center culture and values. Using their fresh vision and heart, they are building a world together for the greater good - a skillset they’ll carry forward!
